Business Development Manager 

As a Business Development Manager at Bink you will be responsible for acquiring large, strategic brands to our innovative payment linked loyalty tool.  This role will require you to use a range of business development skills to engage with prospects, navigate multiple decision makers and negotiate at senior levels to be successful.  This is a great opportunity to thrive in a fast paced, start up environment and be integral to the market growth of Bink.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of prospective clients including proactively researching to identify key decision makers and insights to engage with the prospect to secure face to face meetings, navigate large organisations and build relationships with multiple decision makers

  • Create and drive new business through sales pitches, presentations and sales proposals

  • Use a variety of styles to persuade and negotiate appropriately to overcome objections to a positive conclusion

  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

  • Track and record activity on prospects via CRM tool and close deals to meet targets

  • Work cross functionally with the wider Bink team

  • Represent Bink at industry events, fairs and conferences

  • To undertake any other reasonable management requests, including duties as can be reasonably expected to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the department and Bink

  • To carry out duties as responsibilities of the post at all times in compliance with Loyalty Angels and Bink polices

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrable experience in closing deals in B2B sales, preferably from a loyalty, financial, retail or fintech sector

  • Proven track record of regularly achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders

  • First class communication skills, including excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to build relationships and discover prospective client’s needs and leverage this through solution selling

  • Enthusiastic, driven, ambitious and hungry to succeed

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Self-motivated, organised with great prioritisation skills

  • Problem solving mind-set
